WEEKEND ROUND-UP...
Striker George Hallahan left the club to sign for Wessex Premier side Andover Town on Friday. The club wished George all the best on his move and he got off to a great start after coming off the bench to score the winner in a 3-2 win over AFC Portchester on Saturday.
The 1st team lost their unbeaten record away at Christchurch on Saturday. Two first half (somewhat fortunate) goals from the hosts saw them secure all three points. We put in a strong and dominant second half performance, but failed to take any of our opportunities that could have given us something from the game.
The Reserves lost 5-3 at home to Wyvern (East) League leaders Gosport Borough at Barlow's Park on Saturday. It was a good performance against a very good side with goals coming from Cian Condon (2) and a 'worldy' from Luke Yelland.
The 'A' team lost to 6-2 away at local rivals AFC Aldermaston Reserves on Saturday. Goals from Jason Graham & Kye Theodore were not enough in a disappointing 'derby day'.
Not the best of weekend for our teams, but we take the positives where we can and move on.
