CUNNINGHAM COMES IN

Tadley-Calleva are delighted to announce that reserve team captain, Charlie Cunningham, will step up to be player/manager of our Step 7 side.

Cunningham, who has been with the football club from youth level, has captained both the Allied Counties side at Under 18 & the reserve side under both Chris Hollis & Ashley Saunders.

This progression for Cunningham comes at a time of great success for the reserve side & he is looking forward to the challenge of continuing such success.

"I was delighted to accept the role after putting my name forward to Sandy once Ash informed us of his decision to step down.

Additional chats with Sandy and Joe only further enhanced that and I am really looking forward to the challenge.

Of course I will be bringing new ideas to try and help really elevate the team to continue doing amazing things.

Ash has created amazing foundations here and I can’t thank him enough for his contribution over the past few years, it’s been an honour to be the captain of his side and I now look forward to a new role as player manager"

Charlie will be formalising his management team over the coming weeks and an announcement wil be made in due course.
