WEEKEND ROUND-UP

The 1st team got back to winning ways on Saturday when they came from behind twice against a hard working Fawley side. It was an important win against a side who themselves were on the back of three successive victories and the win takes us back up to 3rd position in the table with games in hand. Goals from Paul Coventry, Brett Denham and Danny Vickers were enough to secure the points in a 3-2 victory.

We travel to face current league leaders Laverstock & Ford on Saturday and we hope to have some important signing news in time for the match.

The Reserves suffered a cruel 5-1 defeat away at a very good Sholing side on Saturday. Two late goals for the home side made the score line appear a bit harsh on us. Adam Alliston, recovering from a long term injury, was on the score sheet for us.

The 'A' team are going through a bit of a tough spell of late and went down 5-4 at home to Bounty United on Saturday. Goals from Jason Graham (2), Gary Hibbs and Peter White were not enough on a difficult day.
