New Signings Confirmed

Last night via social media the club confirmed the following new player signings for the 2019/20 season:

Jack Martin (GK) - Jack join’s us with previous experience with Weymouth in the Southern Premier League last season. While Jack’s opportunities were limited, he was on the bench for a lot of the games and gained vital experience in their promotion winning season. At only 17, he has represented England at schoolboy collage level and will definitely be one to watch for the future.

Lee Wyatt (GK) - Lee is also a goalkeeper and joins us after taking some time out of the game. Previously he has represented Staines Town and Beaconsfield with experience at Reading in his younger years. Lee is looking forward to getting back involved with football and at step 5, we are a perfect fit for him.

Adam Price - Adam has just returned from a 2 year spell in the US where he played collage football. Prior to this he was playing locally at Basingstoke Town and came through the youth set up. Adam can play in a number of positions through the middle of the field and is very much looking forward to getting underway.

Richard Jones - Rich joins us from Wallingford Town and will be eager to impress at step 5 level. At 28, Rich will provide with us with some experience in areas that needed attention. Getting forward is one of Rich’s main attributes and one that he will be looking to execute on a regular basis.

Jordan Goater - Jordan joins us after a number of spells locally, namely with Basingstoke Town and Farnborough. Jordan is versatile and can play in a number of positions, which gives us some depth across the squad. His motivation and enthusiasm is easy to see, so Jordan will be wanting to make the 2019/20 one to remember.

Amie Kamden - Amie joins us from Eastleigh where he is currently attending their academy programme. While Amie is still young, his professionalism and ability is ahead of his time. He trains daily and has also had the opportunity to train with the first team on occasion. He is very excited to get underway and step into senior mens football.

George Farrelly - George joins us from a short spell at Thatcham Town, with a lot of experience at step 5 level. Before Thatcham, he played for Alresford Town and was a regular in their starting 11. In his younger years he represented QPR and AFC Bournemouth. George is excited to get underway and join the squad.

Tom Etheridge - ‘Effie is another versatile player and can perform in a number of positions. Coming through the Basingstoke Town academy programme, he gained a lot of experience that is clear to see. After a short spell in the US, he returned to the UK and has been playing locally. I’m pleased to reunite with ‘Effie and excited to see what he can bring to the squad.
