End of Season Update
On behalf of myself and the committee at Tadley Calleva FC we hope this message finds you and your family safe and well during these very difficult times.
Following the FA decision to curtail the 2020-21 league season for clubs at Steps 3-6, I feel it's important for me to update you on our approach to the end of the current season and also to what's been going on behind the scenes;
Training will re-commence on Wednesday 31st March at The Vyne Community School, Basingstoke.
The First Team will play in a series of friendly matches from early-April until end-May.
The Reserve and Vets Teams will (at present) re-commence their respective league campaigns from the beginning of April.
Please note, due to the current FA rules, all matches will be played behind closed doors until 17th May. Changing rooms cannot be used and will remain closed.
Unfortunately, in line with current government restrictions, the clubhouse bar will also remain closed until further notice. However, on the plus side, we have been able to begin work on our clubhouse extension project This, along with several other ground improvements, will be complete for the start of next season.
We have been informed that the current plan is for the 2021-22 FA Cup Extra-Preliminary Round to take place on Saturday 7th August.
I am also pleased to announce that our Basingstoke League side will be returning for the 2020-21 season with Luke Allaston and Ashley Saunders at the helm.
Finally, a massive thank you to First Team Manager Adam Clark, his staff and all our management teams for their hard work, dedication and professionalism during very challenging times for everyone.
Also, a massive well done to all our players for delivering our successes on the field and a heartfelt thanks to all our supporters, volunteers and sponsors as without your backing the club would not be where it is today.
We look forward to seeing everyone back at Barlows Park as soon as is realistically possible.
Chairman Tadley Calleva FC
