Saturday Preview
A run in the FA Vase is a realistic aim for the football club this season and it starts with a journey down the M4 to face Hellenic Division one side Chipping Sodbury.
Our reserves will be looking to build on last weeks 0-4 away win last time out, but face a tough test against the unbeaten and much favoured Newbury FC.
Chipping Sodbury vs Tadley-Calleva - Isuzu FA Vase Overview
Tadley-Calleva come into the fixture off the back of two defeats in games in which, based on the balance of play, feel they could have picked up a result.
A 5-1 loss at Step 3 Didcot Town in the Emirates FA Cup, which flattered the home side, followed by a late goal from visitors Tooting & Mitcham last time out sees the Barlow's Park side itching to get back to winning ways.
An away fixture to Guidlford City was postponed due to adverse weather conditions.
Chipping Sodbury currently sit at the foot of Hellenic League Division One with just one point from a possible twenty seven. Despite this, The Sods defeated Britwell in the league cup and will be hoping to build on that in a competition where knockout football is at it's best.

Tadley-Calleva Reserves vs Newbury FC
Overview
A home fixture at Barlows Park awaits the reserves as they welcome Newbury Town for the first time in a competitive fixture.
The Reserves got points on the board last weekend with a fantastic0-4 victory away at Woodley United Development. Goodenough opened the scoring with great wing play and a long range finish. This was followed by a Cunningham brace, back in the side after absence in the league opener, and then Theodore late on to round the game off. As well as that, a solid defensive performance and clean sheet after a shock to the system defeat in the league opener against Reading YMCA Rapids, losing 3-2.
They host a Newbury side who are 3 from 3 so far in Thames Valley Division One. Most recently beating Reading YMCA 3-1 with goals from Carl Self and Jacob Wallace, the latter notching 5 from 3 and leading the leagues golden boot race.
Last year Newbury won the Hellenic Division Two East league with a perfect 20 from 20. Can the reserves be the first team to take some points off them for an impressive number of months?
