WEEKEND ROUND-UP

Our unbeaten home record was lost on Saturday after a 2-1 defeat against in-form Romsey Town. We had the better of the first half chances, but fell behind to a defensive mistake just before half time. Jack White intercepted a loose pass and set up Liam Magee to put the visitors ahead. We fell further behind not long after the break when another loose clearance was picked up by Daniel Fox and he made no mistake from 16 yards out. Brett Denham almost pulled one back immediately, but was denied by a fine stop from goalkeeper Jordan Westbrook. Substitute James Tennant (re-signing on dual a registration with Hartley Wintney) fired the ball home after a goalmouth scramble to give us hope of gettin

TWO WEEK ROUND-UP

The 1st team's last three matches have all been away from Barlow's Park: On Saturday 4/11 we visited The Enclosure at Alton FC and were disappointed to lose out 3-2 on their 3G surface. It was a really frustrating day as we had led 2-0 at half time through an OG & a headed goal from Danny Vickers and were looking pretty comfortable. However, we lost 3 goals in the second half in the space of mad ten minutes - which also saw a harsh looking red card for Paul Coventry at 2-2. We tried desperately to find an equaliser, but to no avail and it would be fair to say it was a very frustrating afternoon. We travelled to Ringwood Town on the 11/11 and it was very pleasing to see the team put the disap

The Reserves will have the weekend off.

MATCHDAY UPDATES...

The 1st team were pegged back twice on Saturday by a very dogged Totton & Eling side. Goals from skipper Shaun Dallimore and Brett Denham were not enough to secure all three points in a 2-2 draw. On the plus side, the point did take us a little closer to the league leaders. Goalkeeper Freddie Gee, a recent signing from Hartley Wintney, made his debut. Whilst defender Chris Morris and winger Jordan Goater also made their debuts from the bench. The Reserves got back to winning ways on Tuesday night in a very entertaining match against Liss Athletic in the Wyvern Combination League. Goals from Adam Bartlett, Daryll Phillips and two from Luke Yelland were enough to take the points in a well dese
